As a private telehealth mental health & addictions practice, Journey of Wellness Counseling & Consulting offers a broad range of clinical services to adults, couples, and professional counselors in a confidential setting via a HIPAA secure software platform. Focused specialty groups and substance outpatient groups are offered as needed.


Treatment areas addressed cover a broad range of psychological problems in a trauma specialist practice.  Therapy focuses on empowering individuals to heal and restore their personal growth goals. JWCC uses evidence-based therapeutic interventions and modalities that are grounded in behavioral change, mindfulness, traditional talk therapy; focused on individual’s unique needs.


JWCC believes that empowerment of the individual is important to bring about restoring and renewing focus of healing with a person-centered integrated approach that utilizes the individual’s unique strengths and abilities to restore confidence and empower themselves.

It is the mission of Journey of Wellness Counseling & Consulting, LLC to personify energetic training atmosphere for professional counselors wishing to foster competency in their therapeutic services and prepare for their future licensed professional work endeavors. At JWCC, Jackie takes pride in being able to provide high quality clinical supervision for mental health and substance abuse counselors practicing in the Iowa and Nebraska communities and beyond.


Clinical supervision is offered for temporary (Iowa) and provisional (Nebraska) licensees seeking individual or group supervision.


Jacquelyn “Jackie” Berke, MS, LPC, NCC


Iowa

Jackie meets the Iowa Board of Behavioral Science requirements mandated to provide clinical supervision to temporary licensed mental health counselors working toward independent clinical licensure. Jackie also meets the Iowa Board of Certification requirements mandated to provide clinical supervision to temporary licensed alcohol and drug counselors toward independent CADC or IADC licensure. In addition, Jackie is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who has been trained and completed CACREP standards of Counseling Education & Supervision standards as part of her doctoral studies. Jackie supervises temporary licensed mental health counselors (tLMHC), temporary certified alcohol and drug counselors (tCADC), and certified alcohol and drug counselors (CADC) upgrading to International Alcohol and Drug Counselor licenses (IADC) in Iowa.


Nebraska

Jackie meets the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Mental Health licensure department requirements mandated to provide clinical supervision to provisionally licensed mental health practitioners working toward independent clinical licensure for either licensed mental health practitioners (LMHP) or licensed independent mental health practitioners (LIMHP). Jackie also meets the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Alcohol and Drug licensure department requirements mandated to provide clinical supervision to provisionally licensed alcohol and drug counselors (PLADC) working toward independent licensure for alcohol and drug counseling (LADC). PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to have Jackie as a substance abuse supervisor, a contractual agreement must be made between JWCC/Jackie and your place of practical fieldwork employment). In addition, Jackie is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who has been trained and completed CACREP standards of Counseling Education & Supervision standards as part of her doctoral studies and has completed the NAADC substance abuse clinical supervision training. Jackie supervises provisionally licensed mental health practitioners (PLMHP), licensed mental health practitioners (LMHP)  upgrades to licensed independent mental health practitioners (LIMHP) in the state of Nebraska.



Jackie Berke, LPC, NCC is currently available for group and individual supervision. She has experience providing clinical supervision in-person and telehealth. Jackie WILL abide by all state requirements for supervision, including percentage of time in-person or telehealth supervision.
