Supervision Training and Experience:

Throughout my professional journey, mental health has been at the core of my focus. My extensive experience includes working with adults in various community mental health roles, such as within employment environments, addiction treatment programs, outpatient services, probation and parole systems, correctional facilities, tribal communities, homeless outreach, residential care programs, and as a clinical supervisor and manager. Additionally, I am the proud owner and therapist at Journey of Wellness Counseling & Consulting, a practice based in Iowa.

As a clinical supervisor with 4 years of experience, I have undergone numerous specialized training sessions in clinical supervision. This includes completing a 45-hour refresher course in 2024 and a doctoral-level training along with a corresponding supervision internship in 2022. My expertise lies in providing supervision to both provisionally licensed therapists and fully licensed counselors in both individual and group settings. Over the course of more than a decade, I have amassed over 10 years of hands-on experience in both counseling and supervision.
